Conor Maynard announces world tour + new single

Conor Maynard today shares his new R&B-leaning single and second release of 2022, “P.G.N.L.”

Conor Maynard today shares his new R&B-leaning single and second release of 2022, “P.G.N.L.” – alongside the news of his ‘Continued Tour’ which sees him perform over 20 dates across the US & Europe in what will be his biggest headline tour to date.

In March 2020, having spent a decade signed to a major label and achieving global success, Conor Maynard decided to step out as an independent artist for the next chapter in his career – and hasn’t looked back since. Empowered by his newfound creative control, the singer has taken his global listenership to new levels, with recent single “’What I Put You Through” hitting over 22 million total streams as well as Conor quickly becoming the UK’s 8th most followed TikTok music account despite only joining the platform in 2020.

“P.G.N.L” [listen here] sees him continue his fine run of form. Whereas previous single “Dance With Somebody” was a tender pop-ballad, this track sees Conor’s signature flawless vocals effortlessly gliding across an upbeat instrumental bursting with shimmering synths and tight drum patterns.

It is one that’s readymade for Conor’s forthcoming world tour, in what will be his first run of shows since 2019. This timeframe was enforced due to the pandemic, but one that has made Conor all the more eager to get back on the road and perform to his newfound fans dotted across the world, as well as of course to those who have been with him since his very first YouTube videos back in 2010.

Conor will travel across the US in September before heading to the UK & Europe in October, with shows at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush on 16th October followed by Bristol’s O2 Academy Bristol, Birmingham’s O2 Institute, Manchester’s O2 Ritz and finally finishing at Dublin’s The Academy on 21st October.

Says Conor, “After not having the chance to tour for so long, it felt only right to come back with our biggest one yet! I am buzzing to get back on the road and back to what I love doing the most – performing to all you guys. They’ll be plenty of new music from me before then, so watch this space!”
