Today, GRAMMY-nominated Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett announces a run of European and UK tour dates in support of her recently released, critically acclaimed fourth studio album, Creature of Habit, out now via Fiction Records. Having taken to the stage at Manchester’s Radio 6 Music Festival last month, as well as playing a series of intimate regional dates across the UK, Courtney will continue to bring her new record and extensive catalogue to life with these performances. The tour kicks off in October and takes in shows across Europe and the UK, culminating in a headline London date at O2 Forum Kentish Town. Artist pre-sale begins tomorrow, and tickets will be on general sale Friday 10th April 10am BST here.

Creature of Habit is a bold, emotionally resonant record that explores the central question: how to get out of your own way so you can truly feel your life. Written in the wake of a relocation from Australia to Los Angeles and the closure of her long-running label Milk! Records, Barnett was grappling with changes that put the future of both her life and career in question. Rather than internalizing those feelings, she decided to bring all this swirling confusion directly into the recording process. Listen to the brand new project HERE.

With previous singles “Stay in Your Lane,” “Site Unseen (feat. Waxahatchee),” “Mantis,” “Sugar Plum,” and album focus track “One Thing at a Time,” setting the tone, along with music and production cameos from Flea, Floating Points, John Congleton (Death Cab For Cutie, Sharon Van Etten), Marta Salogni (Bjork, Black Midi, Gorillaz) and Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint), the album marks a decisive new chapter in Courtney Barnett’s musical evolution.
