Darren Kiely releases a new track, “White Flag.” Stream the song HERE.

With this track, Kiely took on the additional role of producer, bringing the perspective he developed from years on the road playing his music for fans. Kiely also wrote the song alongside Henry Agincourt Allen, diving into the experience of leaving past heartbreaks behind in order to give a new relationship a fair chance. With upbeat guitar strumming framing Kiely’s emotional but hopeful vocals, the song evokes a sense of positivity and starting anew.

“‘White Flag’ is about surrendering past hurt, bitterness, and blame so that love can have another chance,” Kiely said. “It’s a song that describes the alternative to harboring resentment and recognizes the vulnerability to get to the place of reconciliation.”

The release of “White Flag” follows Kiely’s previous release, “Hidden Away,” which can be streamed HERE.

Kiely is also gearing up to open for The Lumineers on select dates this June for their “The Automatic World Tour.” Purchase tickets HERE.
