Delta Goodrem returns with her brand-new single, ‘Warrior’, a powerful and uplifting anthem about resilience, personal growth and finding strength in everything life teaches you. The third track from her forthcoming album Pure, set for release in November, ‘Warrior’ sees Delta reflect on the experiences that shape us, embracing the past not with regret, but with the wisdom and perspective that comes from living through it.
Talking about the song, Delta said “To me, ‘Warrior’ is about the strength you collect along the way. You can’t change the past, but you can recognise what it taught you“, explains Delta. Initially thoughtful and introspective, “Warrior” builds with every passing second into a powerful crescendo, transforming scars into stories, experience into wisdom, and vulnerability into strength. I think when we’re younger, we imagine strength means never falling apart,” she continues. “With time, we learn that it’s actually about taking the lesson with you and continuing to move forward. ‘Warrior’ is about honouring every version of yourself: the hero, the villain, the fearless one and the frightened one -and realising they all helped make you who you are.”
The release comes at the start of an exciting new era for Delta, as she was recently announced as part of the 2026 cast of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, one of the UK’s most loved TV shows. She will also be heading on the highly anticipated Pure World Tour in early 2027, with dates across the UK and Europe. European dates in full:
