Fresh from his debut sold-out headline show at Colours Hoxton, London, and his first headlining date in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland, Cian Ducrot announces his brand new EP ‘Make Believe’ due for release on December 12th via Darkroom/Interscope, Polydor UK.

The announcement is accompanied by the release of new single ‘Hello Gorgeous’ one of Cian’s most personal songs yet. Inspired by real life experiences, the powerfully emotional song beautifully demonstrates Ducrot’s masterful songwriting talents and puts both his awe-inspiring classical music training and captivating pop sensibility in the spotlight.

Speaking about ‘Hello Gorgeous’, Cian says “Hello Gorgeous’ is a song I wrote for all the amazing women in my life who have sadly suffered at the hands of shitty men. It’s a song that I hope can help someone somewhere who is suffering or who has suffered and can help them get out of that place and show them they don’t need to stay and continue to be in pain.”

Since his debut single ‘Not Usually Like This’, which has been streamed more than 4.1 million times on Spotify, Cian continues to harvest tastemaker support. Tipped by Jack Saunders as one of three artists to watch in 2021 on Notion and as ‘a phenomenal songwriter’ on BBC Radio 1, he has also gathered support from the likes of CLASH (‘something to treasure’), 1883, The Independent, Official Charts, Pop Justice, MTV UK and was labelled as ‘on the brink of great things’ by the Daily Star. In parallel, Cian has built a 650k-strong audience on TikTok. His irreverent, creative connection with fans across his social platforms only continues to further solidify his position as a rising pop star in the direct vein of artists such as Lewis Capaldi and Lauv.

With live shows back under his belt, and his first EP on Darkroom/Interscope Records, Polydor UK on the way, Cian Ducrot continues to build towards his much anticipated breakout year.
