The multiple Grammy Award winner Michael Bublé shares his brand new single ‘HIGHER’,  which received its exclusive global first play on Zoe Ball’s Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 this morning. The song is the title track from his new album ‘HIGHER’ which follows on March 25th. The album is his first since 2018’s #1 smash ‘Love’ and finds the global entertainer at the peak of his vocal and creative powers.

The song ‘HIGHER’ offers something a little different to what we’ve heard from Michael before. Bombastic brass and sweeping cinematic strings bring a heady sense of drama, while exuberant Latin-tinged rhythms provide a hip-shaking, infectious energy. The star of the show is naturally Michael’s soaring, unmistakable voice.

Michael wrote the song with its Grammy-winning producer Greg Wells alongside co-writer Ryan Tedder.

‘HIGHER’ is the second single to preview the album after ‘I’ll Never Not Love You’. The song achieved the highest UK airplay position of Michael’s career as it peaked at #9, with key support including an A-list and Tune of the Week at Radio 2. It was followed by a memorable video, which features Michael and his wife, the Argentinian actress Luisana Lopilato, lovingly recreating key love scene and iconic moments from several classic films.

Produced by Greg Wells and Bob Rock along with Allen Chang, Jason ‘Spicy G’ Goldman and Sir Paul McCartney, ‘HIGHER’ is Michael’s first studio album in three years. It follows his hugely successful sold-out two-year An Evening With Michael Bublé tour as well as the 10th anniversary of the release of his hugely successful ‘Christmas’ album.

Standouts on the new album include a magical duet with Willie Nelson on his song ‘Crazy’,  Michael’s heartfelt version of the Sir Paul McCartney-penned and produced song ‘My Valentine’, and the Bob Dylan classic ‘Make You Feel My Love’. Michael also presents his own interpretations of the Sam Cooke classic ‘Bring It On Home To Me’, ‘You’re The First,  The Last, My Everything’, and the joyous ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’. The album closes with a dramatic and breath-taking version of ‘Smile’ accompanied by a gospel choir.
