Cult starlet and acclaimed songwriter Luvcat has today announced the premiere of her full live concert film, capturing her rapturous, intimate performance at The Box Soho. The film will premiere exclusively on YouTube at 6pm GMT this Halloween, Saturday 31st October for 48 hours only, exactly one year since the release of her critically revered debut album, Vicious Delicious.
Marking the milestone, can now purchase a special 1st Anniversary Edition of the Vicious Delicious vinyl, complete with a signed, tartan obi strip, and including a 16-page booklet with never before seen photos from the making of the album.
Filmed during her recent surprise London underplay, which sold out in under five minutes, the video captures Luvcat delivering an intimate set at the infamous Soho haunt. Playing to a packed room of die-hard fans, the set spans album tracks, murder-ballad spin-off EP Lovebites and an unreleased preview of new material; all of which display Luvcat’s razor-sharp lyricism. Through evocative storytelling, rapid-fire costume changes and eerie, Lynchian red lighting, the film bottles the raw atmosphere of the DIY show in its theatrical glory.
Vicious Delicious, released on Halloween 2025 via AWAL, has now surpassed an astonishing 220 million streams.
Speaking from the stage on the night, glass of red wine in hand, Luvcat told the crowd: “The last time I was in The Box, it was a fever dream. Delightful and disturbing. I came to as the bright lights were turned on at 6am dancing on a tabletop with the prince of Spain. Or France. It’s all a little blurry…”
Since her breakthrough single ‘Matador’, the Liverpool-born artist has captivated an international following with her signature blend of noir glamour, tragic romance, and razor-sharp wit. Her debut album rocketed to Number 4 on the Official Independent Albums Chart, chronicling a whirlwind chapter spanning a liaison with a circus ringleader, Parisian escapades along the Seine, and underground sets at Brixton Windmill.
