Rising singer-songwriter Paul James Project ensures we turn off the noise and tune into his poignant new single, ‘Speak To Me In Silence,’ out now. Produced by Grammy-nominated Chris Potter (The Verve, The Rolling Stones), the track is a time capsule of grief and the bittersweet, growth-filled moments when life’s ticking clock seems to move a little too fast.

Paul reflects on the song’s emotional depth: “When you’re a kid, your dad can seem like a giant to you in so many ways. They’re your hero. It’s heartbreaking seeing them get sick and having those roles reversed. The song is an expression of those conflicting feelings, whilst honouring the magic of everything he meant. Miss you dad.”

Expect to find Paul James Project alongside Lewis Capaldi, Kings of Leon, and Ed Sheeran on your playlists; even Coldplay would hit the like button. Coldplay’s drummer Will Champion has praised Paul, saying, “Paul is a very talented singer, I’ve heard his stuff – I think it’s fantastic, he’s great.”

‘Speak To Me In Silence’ continues to showcase his alt-rock sound, with guitars and bass intertwining around his raw, emotive vocals.

Paul James Project’s musical journey led to a collaboration with Scottish singer-songwriter Lulu’s brother, Billy Lawrie (Tina Turner, Bee Gees, Beatles), with whom he co-wrote ‘Ordinary Boy’ and ‘Too Late For Love.’ Since then, Paul has been featured in the Daily Mail, received over 100 plays on UK radio, and performed multiple shows across London. With a series of upcoming singles and his debut album, Book of Memories, set for release this autumn, Paul James Project is primed to make 2025 his breakthrough year.
