JS Promotions have announced the line up for their annual INTERZONE Festival, which will take place next year at EDINBURGH CORN EXCHANGE on SATURDAY 29 MAY.
Opening the event will be THE ARMOURY SHOW, the influential post-punk band fronted by Richard Jobson of The Skids, whose work has played a significant role in the evolution of the UK underground music scene. Known for their intense, art-driven approach and Jobson’s distinctive presence, Armoury Show bring together the restless energy, experimental spirit and uncompromising attitude that defined the post-punk era.
Taking stage next will be CHAMELEONS, masters of atmospheric post-punk and a band whose sweeping guitars, emotional intensity and cult following have made them one of the most influential acts of their era. Their immersive sound will set the tone for a powerful ascent through the evening.
THE WEDDING PRESENT follow as the penultimate act, bringing their unmistakable mix of furious jangling guitars, sharp lyricism and tireless indie-rock spirit. With decades of acclaimed releases and a reputation for electric live shows, they deliver the perfect bridge into the night’s headline performance.
Closing the night will be PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT, led by the legendary bassist of Joy Division and New Order. Renowned for bringing the classic catalogues of both bands back to the stage with raw intensity and emotional authenticity, Hooky and the band will headline with a set that will celebrate some of the most influential music ever created. Expect a powerful and unforgettable finale.
