Ross Quinn releases his new track ‘You’

A stellar introduction as London by way of Yorkshire multi-instrumentalist Ross Quinn releases his debut offering in dazzling left-pop cut, You. The track bristles with energy from the outset, Ross Quinn’s standout vocals decorating a shapeshifting soundscape to create a track which cements him as a surefire artist to watch for the rest of 2020. The track arrives with a cinematic video devised by Quinn. Speaking on the track and video, he states:

You’, is inspired by the early & exciting stages of a relationship. Forming a connection with someone, trying to gain a better understanding of them and their somewhat, elusive feelings. I wanted that energy to match in production with a driving beat, yet keeping the warm tones and textures throughout, taking you back to that place of the relationship.

Now in his early 20’s, Ross Quinn moved to London from the Yorkshire Dales at at the age of 18. A studio assistant job at the now defunct studio Gin Factory saw him rubbing shoulders with the likes of Sampha and Stormzy, as well as working under the watchful eye of Wiley. Now stepping out of the shadows, Quinn is set to release his debut EP this summer. Keep a close eye on him over the coming months.
