Amazon Music today announces details of a very special festive Sam-ta Grotto Bus with Sam Ryder, to celebrate his Amazon Music Original track “You’re Christmas To Me”. The Sam-ta Grotto Bus will arrive at Queen’s Walk, Southbank Centre in London on Saturday 16th December and Spinningfields in Manchester on Sunday 17th December, for fans to drop in and experience the Christmas magic, plus catch intimate performances from Sam across the weekend.
At each location, fans will have the opportunity to write Christmas cards to post to a loved one, followed by a meet and greet and photo opportunity with Sam-ta himself. The magic doesn’t end there as fans will have the opportunity to create their own customised Christmas cookies and there will also be intimate performances of Sam’s Amazon Music Original single “You’re Christmas To Me” across the day to have people sleighing into the Christmas season. Head down to Southbank and Spinningfields between 12pm and 6pm to be part of the festive fun.
In addition to the opportunity to experience the track in person, Amazon Music have also released a brand new music video to accompany “Your Christmas To Me (Amazon Music Original)”. The video is inspired by a ‘Friendsmas Christmas’ which showcases a 90s style flat-share lounge, where bottles of bubbly are popped and Christmas gets underway. The veggie dinner is cooking, crackers are pulled and all manner of festive fun ensues before the friends share gifts and get together for a singalong in the living room.
Speaking about his new single, Sam Ryder said, “Imagine blasting through the sky on a runaway sleigh with a skin full of mulled wine next to the big red guy…That’s my Christmas song.”
Sam’s Amazon Music Original will also feature in Prime Video’s heart-warming original comedy film, Your Christmas Or Mine 2, out now worldwide.
The brand new for 2023 collection of festive Original tracks are available to Amazon Music listeners now, to make the holiday season brighter. “Christmas Without You” by 10-time BRIT Award Nominee and pop sensation Anne-Marie, will also feature in Your Christmas Or Mine 2. Additionally, BRIT Award winner Jorja Smith has also created a stunning, reimagined Amazon Music Original cover of East 17’s classic, “Stay Another Day”.
