This week is full of treats – we can hug again, watch live music, meet friends in the pub without worrying about the unpredictable British weather, and The Overtones are giving us A Night To Remember! To celebrate the UK entering stage 3 of the roadmap and as a fun surprise for fans, The Overtones release a very special cover of Shalamar’s A Night To Remember today. Listen here. They’ve also dropped a lyric video which you can view here.

A Night To Remember is the second track to be revealed from the much loved British band’s new album, 10. The album marks their 10th anniversary and is now set to be released on the 30th July, ahead of a 20 date UK tour in November and December. The album can be pre-ordered here and it will be available in 5 formats – CD, Digital, Cassette, Deluxe Digital and Deluxe CD. The deluxe versions will feature a different neon pink sleeve and include an extra 3 tracks plus an exclusive chat with the guys. For fans who have already pre-ordered the standard album, they have the option to upgrade.

Speaking about A Night To Remember and the 10th anniversary, The Overtones say: “We, along with the rest of the country, are so looking forward to live music returning and for the next stage in getting our lives back to some kind of normal. We feel we all need A Night To Remember right now! This is one of our favourite covers and we can’t wait to perform it for you and have a dance on our tour later this year.”

The album features nostalgic hits, original songs and two epic collaborations, including a special cover of Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You with long-term friend of the band Michael Ball. The second collaboration sees The Overtones reimagine Simply Red’s Stars and features West End star Marisha Wallace. The four-piece have already released a special re-recording of their debut hit Gambling Man alongside a brilliant video, watch here.

Since bursting onto the UK music scene ten years ago, The Overtones have racked up platinum record sales, released 6 studio albums, scored four Top 10’s, sold out tours across the nation, performed for Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace and sang to one million people at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. They have firmly established themselves as one of the UK’s most popular live acts, best known for their exquisite vocals, distinctive style, charm and perfectly-pitched harmonies.
