Margate Summer Series and Summer Sounds reveal that musical tour de force and one of the UK’s most successful, must-see indie bands of a generation, Two Door Cinema Club will be making waves on Margate shores as part of this year’s summer series The trio behind hits including ‘What You Know’, ‘Sun’, and 2023’s ‘Millionaire’ will be taking to the seafront stage for a one-day outdoor spectacular. Taking place on Saturday 9 September  2023, tickets go on general sale 10am, Friday 2 June  via www.margatesummerseries.co.uk.

The indie rock trio are revered for their glorious live shows which have delighted festival fans the world over since bursting onto the scene over a decade ago in 2010 with ‘Something Good Can Work’. Last year, Two Door Cinema Club dropped their latest studio album, beautifully titled ‘Keep On Smiling’, smattered with summery goodness. Effortlessly intertwining guitar-led post-punk hooks with shimmering electro-dance sounds, the Northern Irish trio have five acclaimed studio albums under their belt, brimming with fan-favourites – their stop at Margate this summer is one you won’t want to miss.

In its biggest edition to date, the Margate Summer Series will take over Dreamland and venues around Margate for 20+ dates, delivering a truly show-stopping line-up featuring must-see artists including Tom Jones, Queens of the Stone Age, The Streets, Placebo, Olly Murs, GZA, The Streets, Rag N Bone Man, N-Dubz, Morcheeba, McFly, Kool and the Gang and more.

Based on the sea-front, Dreamland is the perfect location to host the Margate Summer Series with an amazing 7k capacity outdoor stage alongside a wide range of food and drink options. Music lovers will also be able to enjoy the fun vintage rides and many break out spaces for the ultimate seaside summer day out. Margate is a buzzing seaside town in Kent. With its very own stunning beach, Margate brimming with bars other brilliant live venues, restaurants, cafes and galleries including the Turner Contemporary.
