Pop phenomenon Remi Wolf, has announced her first headline show in London, taking place on Tuesday 14th September at the Moth Club. The announcement follows the recent release of the fan favorite track “Liz”.

On “Liz,” Wolf flexes her vocal range on a bittersweet backdrop that vibrantly displays the self-awareness, authenticity and sense of humor that have earned Wolf the support of dedicated fans, critics and musical peers and icons such as Nile Rodgers, Beck, Hot Chip, Little Dragon, Panda Bear, Polo & Pan, Free Nationals, Dominic Fike, and Sylvan Esso. Wolf has often performed “Liz” at her live shows, and decided to officially release the long-awaited track as a thank you to her most loyal fans who have been waiting eagerly for the track to grace their streaming libraries. To accompany the release, Wolf shared an intimate live performance video of the track as well as a documentary about the ‘Making of Liz’, which is available to watch here.

To both Wolf and her day-one fans, the release of “Liz” is long awaited as Remi explains:

I wanted to share “Liz” as a gift to my little Remjobs who have been with me since the beginning and have been asking for this song everyday over the last few years. I’ve been performing “Liz” on tour for forever and to finally have a studio version I’m proud of and can share with my OG babies feels like a weight has been lifted off my chest. This record shows a different side of my work…I felt so happy and free creating this song and I hope it makes whoever is listening feel the same.”

The last year has been quite the ride to international stardom for the 25-year-old sensation. On top of releasing her sophomore EP I’m Allergic to Dogs! in June of 2020, Wolf recently released her remix EP, We Love Dogs! featuring collaborations from renowned artists including Nile Rodgers, Beck, Hot Chip, Panda Bear, and more. She has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she performed a mash-up of the streaming sensation “Photo ID” and single “Hello Hello Hello!.” “Photo ID” has racked up an astonishing 10 billion views on TikTok, and the track recently received a rework from Dominic Fike, further cementing Wolf as Gen-Z’s favorite colorful and expressive icon.
