Global pop group XG has announced a UK date for their highly anticipated second world tour, ‘XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE.’ The one night only London show will be held at OVO Arena Wembley on Wednesday, 2 September.
The London date follows XG’s highly anticipated debut performance at Capital’s Summertime Ball at Wembley, on Saturday (6th June) – where they shared the stage with iconic acts including RAYE, Niall Horan, Take That and Calvin Harris.
Alongside their London show, The XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE – the seven-piece group’s second world tour – will take them across multiple continents this autumn, including a stop at the Adidas Arena in Paris on 5 September and a seven-show North American arena run from 3-22 November.
The tour arrives on the heels of XG’s first full-length album, THE CORE – 核, which debuted on the Billboard 200 and marked another major milestone in the group’s global rise. Its pre-release single “GALA” became XG’s third Top 40 U.S. radio hit following “LEFT RIGHT” and “WOKE UP,” with “LEFT RIGHT” spending 13 consecutive weeks on the chart. “GALA” was also named Billboard’s favorite new music release in a fan-voted poll during launch week and debuted in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Dance Digital Song Sales chart alongside artists including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, BLACKPINK, and HUNTR/X.
