YOU ME AT SIX announce deluxe edition ‘Suckapunch’

You Me At Six are set to release an extended deluxe version of their chart topping UK Number One album, ‘SUCKAPUNCH’.

Amidst a truly stellar year, You Me At Six are set to release an extended deluxe version of their chart topping UK Number One album, ‘SUCKAPUNCH’. Preorder HERE. The first installment, ‘Voicenotes (Alternative Edition)’, sees You Me At Six breaking into entirely new territory; dark, ambient, minimal, reimagined. Listen HERE. The new track also arrives with the announcement that the band will join Bring Me The Horizon across their UK arena dates in September, following their own headline tour.

The deluxe version builds on the foundations of ‘SUCKAPUNCH’, seeing You Me At Six push boundaries further  with their longtime producer Dan Austin (Biffy Clyro, Massive Attack, Pixies). Fans can expect brand new tracks that truly enhance the personal and genre transgressing nature of ‘SUCKAPUNCH’, with songs like ‘Read My Mind’, ‘Headshot’ and ‘Serotonin Szn’ seeing the band exploring their progressive and experimental songwriting, alongside new interpretations of stand outs ‘Beautiful Way’ and ‘Glasgow’, the latter of which was recorded with a 30-piece orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.

Frontman Josh Franceschi said, “After putting SUCKAPUNCH out in January and amidst the ongoing pandemic we found ourselves in an interesting place, we can’t tour, but don’t feel ready to start a new project. We remembered there were a bunch of songs we’d made in Thailand that were kind of half completed. Serotonin Szn & Headshot, so we wanted to finish what we’d started. Being able to include Glasgow, Live from Abbey Road, with a full orchestra just really ties it all together. We feel we’ve added something to a record we’re all collectively so proud of.”

Following their eagerly anticipated ‘SUCKAPUNCH’ headline UK dates in September, as well as performing on the Main Stage of the Isle of Wight Festival, You Me At Six will join Bring Me The Horizon on their arena tour across the UK.

You Me At Six have proven themselves to be one of the biggest and most prolific rock bands in Britain. Their 15 year career has seen four UK Gold Records and six Top Ten Albums in the UK, 17 consecutive A-List singles on BBC Radio One. In addition, they’ve sold out multiple US headline tours, with a Number One rock song in the UK, Australia, and Top Five Rock Radio track in North America.
