2025 has been a landmark year for Australian singer-songwriter Ziggy Alberts. Kicking off the year with his seventh studio album New Love, Ziggy then embarked on a monumental 105-date world tour, selling out venues around the world, including a sold out, career-defining headline performance at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall last week.

Now, Ziggy celebrates the end of this milestone chapter with his brand-new single, ‘Cyclones’, an energetic, sun-soaked track that blends his signature lyrical vulnerability with an evolved, atmospheric folk-pop sound.

Cyclones’ continues Ziggy’s sonic evolution from acoustic troubadour to genre-blending craftsman, a fitting reflection of a year that has seen him reach new creative and career heights. Cyclones doesn’t just close out a record year, it’s a signal of what’s to come: bolder production, deeper songwriting, and the same uncompromising independence that’s powered Ziggy Alberts’ journey from busking street corners to the world stage.

To close out this incredible year, Ziggy returns home for his Homecoming Tour, featuring all-ages shows across Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, including his first-ever arena performance at Margaret Court Arena.

Ziggy’s Homecoming Tour will see him play some of the biggest shows of his career this November. The all-ages tour also promotes Ziggy’s Green Touring Initiative, a project founded by Ziggy focused on reducing environmental impact, educating fans on local causes, and giving back to the communities that host these shows. Joining Ziggy on the Australian leg are South African singer-songwriter Jeremy Loops, The Beautiful Girls, and Azure Ryder.

His breakout hit ‘Runaway’ has surpassed 118 million Spotify streams and achieved 3× Platinum in Australia, 1× Platinum in New Zealand, and Gold in Canada. Fan favourites like ‘Love Me Now’, ‘Laps Around The Sun’ (3× Platinum), and ‘Gone’ (2× Platinum) have solidified his rise from street busker to global touring artist.

Ziggy’s 2025 World Tour included sold-out 3,500+ cap shows in Germany, debut performances in Brazil and Mexico, and a six-month advance sell-out at Royal Albert Hall, proving his grassroots global appeal remains as strong as ever.
