Acclaimed all-ages festival Deer Shed Festival welcomed thousands of festival goers to North Yorkshire this weekend, marking its 16th edition with an unforgettable celebration of live music, art, sports, theatre and community.
A family-owned and fully independent event, Deer Shed once again transformed Topcliffe’s Baldersby Park into an immersive playground, blending a forward-thinking cultural programme with a warm, inclusive atmosphere, solidifying its reputation as a festival thoughtfully crafted for kids, parents, music lovers, and everyone in between.

Friday saw crowds break into a disco frenzy to the symphonic grooves of main stage headliners Say She She, who got everyone from the front row to the ferris wheel to step into their dancing shoes. The energy continued across the weekend, driven by a boisterous performance from Fat Dog followed by the rugged and captivating Nottingham duo, Sleaford Mods, before concluding with a standout performance from Everything Everything, who closed the festival by marking ten years since they first headlined in 2016.
Away from the main stage, the rest of the park was a hive of activity, including a secret set from electric Cardiff punk quartet Panic Shack, the debut of the festival’s biggest interaction to date – a colossal, interactive maze that had festival goers facing puzzles and costumed characters to try their luck at escaping – a celebration of the 2026 theme ‘Into the Labyrinth’, and the euphoric Hench Wenches’ silent Ceilidh and disco line dance carrying the audience through to the early hours of the morning.
This year also saw the expansion of the festival’s wellness offerings in their unique Wilderwild woodland area, with thousands of festival goers taking advantage of the cold plunges, forest bathing, wild swimming and newly built saunas to rest and recharge. After dark sessions, featuring light installations and fireside performances, provided the opportunity for a relaxed and mellow end to each evening.
Festival organisers are excited to announce the return of Deer Shed next year, with dates confirmed for the 23rd to 26th of July 2027. Early bird tickets have been frozen at 2026 prices and are now live on the Deer Shed Festival website, with adult tickets starting at £179.
