Tom Grennan brought his characteristic high-energy set to the sold-out historic courtyard, lighting up the iconic Grade I-listed venue with a mix of crowd-pleasing hits and tracks from his recent work.
The performance featured strong renditions of favourites such as “Little Bit of Love,” “Found What I’ve Been Looking For,” “Higher,” “All These Nights,” “Don’t Break the Heart,” “Crown Your Love,” “Remind Me,” “By Your Side,” and “Lionheart,” with the audience singing along enthusiastically throughout the evening. The atmospheric setting of the Piece Hall’s Georgian architecture complemented the emotional and upbeat moments, creating a vibrant connection between artist and fans in the Yorkshire summer night.
It was another strong addition to Grennan’s run of live dates, showcasing the engaging stage presence and vocal power that have made him one of the UK’s standout contemporary performers. The show wrapped up the artist’s summer appearances on a high note in one of the country’s most distinctive outdoor venues.
Born Thomas Grennan on 8 June 1995 in Bedford, England, Grennan comes from an Irish family and initially trained as a professional footballer (including a spell with Luton Town) before pursuing music. He first gained attention in 2016 as a guest vocalist on Chase & Status’s “All Goes Wrong.” His debut album Lighting Matches (2018) reached No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart, featuring the single “Found What I’ve Been Looking For.” Subsequent releases Evering Road (2021) and What Ifs & Maybes (2023) both topped the UK chart, with major hits including “Little Bit of Love,” “Don’t Break the Heart,” “Remind Me,” and collaborations such as “By Your Side” with Calvin Harris and “Lionheart (Fearless)” with Joel Corry.
His fourth album, Everywhere I Went, Led Me to Where I Didn’t Want to Be, was released in 2025. Grennan is a multi-platinum artist with BRIT Award nominations, an MTV EMA for Best UK Act, and a reputation for passionate live shows that blend anthemic choruses with personal, uplifting songwriting.
