Canadian singer-songwriter Alexander Stewart announces a nationwide UK Tour for May 2023 with further dates confirmed across Europe. It follows the success of an earlier run of UK and European shows which dovetailed his soul-searching smash, “Blame’s On Me” which has now been streamed over 48 million times, an impressive feat for an emerging artist.

The thirteen-date tour kicks off at The Garage in Glasgow on 5 May, with dates across the UK in Manchester, London, Birmingham, and Bristol before concluding with a headline set at The Great Escape Festival on 12 May. The Great Escape promises to showcase 500 emerging artists from all over the world in venues across the city.

Stewart embarks on his European leg of the tour from 14 May with stops in Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, France before wrapping on 23 May in The Netherlands. See below for full list of dates.

Tickets are on sale on Friday 24 March at 9am at alexanderstewart.komi.io.

Alexander says: “I couldn’t be more excited to go back on the road! My first ever headline tour started in Europe, and it’s gonna feel unbelievable to be back playing new music!

News of a UK & European tour arrives as Alexander teases another heart wrenching new single, “Leave Me In The Dark”, due for release 5 April. The new track marks the next chapter in Alexander’s story and focuses on the betrayal that follows the breakdown of his relationship. Pre-save “Leave Me In The Dark” HERE.

The Toronto-born artist sang in choirs from an early age, and as he got older, was drawn to the hype-creating YouTube covers from artists like Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth and Bruno Mars. Inspired by these artists, he hit the recording studio and got to work on honing his craft throughout high school, eventually sparking viral gold with his take on Camila Cabello’s “Havana.”
