Hot on the heels of their critically acclaimed debut album, The Modern Shoe Is Ruining The Foot (released via Warner Records / 23 Recordings), rising Australian alt-folk five-piece Any Young Mechanic have officially announced a major UK and European tour set for October and November.
The 10-date tour across Europe and the UK runs from mid-October through to early November. The European leg kicks off in Cologne on October 18th, taking in shows in Amsterdam and Paris before heading to the UK for a run of intimate headline dates and festival appearances. The band makes their London stop on November 4th performing at Moth Club as part of the Pitchfork Festival, before wrapping up on November 6th at the Iceland Airwaves festival in Reykjavik
Tickets are available on pre-sale on Tuesday, August 4th at 10:00 AM BST and go on general sale on Wednesday, August 5th at 10:00 AM BST.

Taking their name from a line in “Hooray For Hollywood”—inspired by its jarring use in Robert Altman’s film The Long Goodbye—Any Young Mechanic bring an aptly cinematic quality to their music.
