BEN KHAN has announced his highly anticipated debut album, to be released on 10 August by Dirty Hit Records. Ben has also revealed the album’s latest single, RUBY, which follows the record’s lead track 2000 ANGELS.

Noisey recently hailed BEN KHAN as “auteur-like”, while the previously released album tracks DO IT RIGHT – branded as “futuristic sci-fi funk” by Complex – and AGAINST THE WALL – described as having “barbed fluoro-soaked electronics” by Clash – have further set the tone for one of this year’s most exciting and diverse debut releases.

Having exploded into view with the launch of his two previous EPs, 1992 and 1000, Ben says of his debut album: “I think the point of an artist is to show people a different side of things, to take different perceptions of life and present them back to you. Hopefully this album will take you out of your reality for a bit and take it to the start of a fantasy place”.

The album was produced alongside the legendary FLOOD [PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails] mixed by SPIKE STENT [Bjork, Frank Ocean] and mastered by DAVE COOLEY [J Dilla, M83] and sees Ben playing every instrument on the record. Ben also launched his new interactive website, The Foundation [ ] which offers an insight into the richness and depth of the album’s story.
