The unique connection between Cavetown and his community continues to grow, leading him to play bigger venues every year – most recently selling out London’s Eventim Apollo months in advance. Now Cavetown announces details of the biggest gig of his career to date as he brings his Bittersweet Daze festival to London’s beautiful Alexandra Palace on September 24th. He has personally curated the show’s line-up, which also features his friends and special guests dodie, AlfieTempleman, Tessa Violet and Cafuné.

Cavetown – real name Robin Skinner – says, “This is going to be such a massive epic time and I can’t wait to play songs with my dear pals in London at this incredible venue :’) !!!”

Tickets for the show will go on sale HERE at 10am on Friday, March 10th. £1 from every ticket sale will be donated to Cavetown’s This Is Home Project. The foundation’s aim is to donate to various organisations to empower and support LGBTQ+ youth.

In addition to Alexandra Palace, Cavetown will play three Road to Bittersweet Daze shows in Europe, calling at Paris L’Olympia (September 19th), the Cologne Palladium (September 21st) and Utrecht Tivoli (September 22nd). These three shows will feature special guests Tessa Violet and Cafuné, and €1 from each ticket sale will be donated to the This Is Home Project.

Uk shows are as follows;

July

24th London, UK @ Alexandra Palace

An innately DIY artist, Cavetown first discovered the depths of his imagination as a child, when he’d write and illustrate his own storybooks. After taking up guitar, he began writing and recording in his bedroom in his early teens, then releasing his lo-fi yet emotionally intricate songs on Bandcamp.
