Global K-pop phenomenon Monsta X releases their new English album, ‘THE DREAMING’ through BMG in collaboration with Starship Entertainment. In addition, they present the official video to new single ‘You Problem’.

Along with the album release there is a new group-based documentary, ‘Monsta X: The Dreaming’, which will be available in cinemas worldwide on Thursday, December 9, and will have additional screenings available on Saturday, December 11. Rolling Stone wrote, “The film will chronicle [Monsta X’s] journey over the past few years, with never-before-seen footage, new interviews with each of the members, and special presentations of their biggest hits.” The group attended the world premiere at CGV Cinemas in Koreatown in Los Angeles, CA this past Wednesday December 8. “Monsta X: The Dreaming” was released in South Korea, Hong Kong and Japan by CJ 4DPlex, and in all remaining global territories by Trafalgar Releasing .

Monsta X shared ‘One Day’, the first preview of the album in October. The song is the group’s third single to rise to the Top 40 and, as Forbes reports, makes Monsta X the second K-pop group in history to appear on the chart more than once. PAPER magazine praised the “heartfelt, giddy ballad, the kind they do so well,” calling the song “an auspicious introduction to the next chapter of the legendary history of the K-pop band.” Teen Vogue, meanwhile, said: “With a medium time beat and good vibes, ‘One Day’ excites us for what comes next from Monsta X.”

Named by Grammy.com as “one of K-pop’s most prolific groups,” Monsta X’s new album The Dreaming is a continuation of their first all English-language debut album, ALL ABOUT LUV. Released in February 2020, that album ranked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 Chart, making Monsta X only the 3rd K-Pop group to chart within the top 10, and was one of the first-ever full English-language pop albums from Korea.
