ODESZA (the GRAMMY-nominated duo of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight) made a special appearance on Saturday at Coachella in California, performing a surprise DJ set at the Do Lab www. The electronic trailblazers’ set included an appearance by celebrated singer, songwriter and violinist Sudan Archives, who joined the duo to premiere the new ODESZA remix of her hit ‘Selfish Soul’ – the duo’s first remix in eight years which is out now.

The track drop and Coachella appearance follows the recent announcement of ODESZA’s forthcoming headlining slot at the 2023 Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas, USA, added to a list of spring/summer appearances that also include top-billing slots at Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands and Electric Forest in their native US, as well as their recently announced autumn tour kicking off in September.

ODESZA says: “Sudan Archives was one of our favourite artists we discovered over the past year. This song in particular was incredibly inspiring to us and we’re grateful to be a part of it.”

Sudan Archives says: “Thank you ODESZA for remixing my song in a way I could never have imagined!”

ODESZA recently attended the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards in support of their nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album for ‘The Last Goodbye’ (released via Foreign Family Collective/Ninja Tune last year) and released their latest single ‘To Be Yours (feat. Claud)’ last month. Last year’s headlining tour sold over 450k tickets throughout its amphitheatre run with numerous sold-out, multi-night runs including in their hometown of Seattle at the Climate Pledge Arena, LA’s Kia Forum, and New York’s Forest Hills Stadium – making them the first electronic artists to attempt such a tour.
