Hertfordshire, UK indie punk favourites THE SUBWAYS are today proud to release their fifth studio album, Uncertain Joys, out now on DSPs, with the 12” vinyl released on 3rd February 2023.

The album will also be available as a special Digital Pressing via Serenade on 16th January 2023, limited to just 100 copies.

This eco-friendly format is a brand new digital way of collecting music, which provides verifiable ownership of the album, alongside unlocking access to exclusive voice notes, artwork, and images that detail the making of the record.

Following a busy summer of festival appearances across the UK and Europe last year, the band’s extensive ‘Uncertain Joys’ UK/EU album tour dates are on sale now running throughout January/February/March 2023 (see below for full listings).

The trio will play a special album release show at Paper Dress Vintage in London tonight, 13th January 2023, as the final part of their pop up venue takeover.

Formed in 2002, by now The Subways should need no introduction. Nearly 20 years into their career the band have had multiple chart-worthy album releases including Young For Eternity (2005), All Or Nothing (2008), Money And Celebrity (2011), and The Subways (2015), spawning a slew of hit singles including ‘Rock & Roll Queen’, ‘Oh Yeah’, ‘Girls & Boys’ and ‘We Don’t Need Money To Have A Good Time’.

They have toured with AC/DC, Foo Fighters, and Oasis, appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and graced the festival main-stages of Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Lollapalooza, Download, Soundwave, Hurricane & Southside, Rock Im Park, Rock Am Ring and many more.
