It might be a million miles away from the red carpet events she’s used to in America but YouTube sensation Megan Davies couldn’t be happier to kick off her tour at the Deaf Institute in Manchester.
London indie favourites Palace kick off a sold-out tour in Leeds and, while the night ended badly, the gig itself was a triumphant start for the tour.
What seemed like a strange venue to be holding a gig by one of rock’s most iconic figures, Slash, turned out to be a night two thousand or so rockers won’t forget in a hurry.
