The countdown is almost over as Rock N Roll Circus prepares to return to Sheffield for four huge days of live music at Don Valley Bowl from Thursday August 27 to Sunday August 30.

With Wunderhorse now completely sold out and final tickets remaining for shows headlined by The Kooks, The Streets and Richard Ashcroft, organisers have now revealed the full stage times, opening times and festival site map ahead of the circus rolling back into the city.

Thousands of music fans are expected across the weekend as the award-winning festival brings together some of the biggest names in British music, rising artists and the unique circus-inspired experience that has become its calling card.

FOUR DAYS OF LIVE MUSIC

The Kooks kick off Rock N Roll Circus on Thursday August 27, opening the Sheffield weekend beneath the Big Top as the festival gets underway from 4pm. Cruz Beckham and his band The Breakers will also be at Don Valley this week. Cruz did a special cameo with Luke Pritchard of the Kooks at Rock N Roll Circus Norwich last week prompting speculation that there’ll be more surprises at the circus in Sheffield this week.

Friday August 28 sees The Streets take centre stage, with Mike Skinner and co returning to Sheffield for a headline performance featuring their landmark album A Grand Don’t Come For Free.

Saturday belongs to Wunderhorse, with demand for the band’s Sheffield appearance seeing the show officially sell out ahead of the festival.

Rock N Roll Circus then closes on Sunday August 30 with Richard Ashcroft, bringing one of the most celebrated catalogues in British music to Don Valley Bowl having toured the UK and the Americas last summer with Oasis for one of the biggest reunion tours of all time. Fans can expect songs spanning his solo career and his years fronting The Verve, including the likes of Lucky Man, Sonnet, The Drugs Don’t Work and Bitter Sweet Symphony.

Across the four days, the headliners will be joined by a packed supporting bill of established favourites and emerging talent, turning Don Valley Bowl into one of Sheffield’s biggest live music destinations of the summer.

Beyond the music, Rock N Roll Circus combines a major festival line-up with its distinctive circus world, bringing together live performance, entertainment, food and drink and a festival site built around its iconic Big Top.
