The first time I saw Erasure was this very venue, fast forward 29 years and here we are again. Older and not so sure any wiser, you just know this is going to be a great night, with a mixture of old and new music.

Kicking off the evening as support was Wayne G, a DJ playing all your favourite party pop hits from the 80s/90s to get people in the mood. And they were certainly getting in the mood, the Apollo was sold out with mostly 40/50 somethings reliving their youth as they sang and danced the night away.

Erasure are celebrating the release of their eighteenth studio album The Neon with this brand-new tour. Taking inspiration from pop music through the decades, from bands Andy loved as a child through to the present day. Also, coinciding with the first date of tour, Erasure announced a surprise release in the shape of a five-song EP featuring their recent single ‘Secrets’ alongside four brand new tracks. The ‘Ne:EP’ is out now and available in CD, cassette and digital editions, each featuring different artwork.

Erasure have been releasing music non stop since the mid 80s and have released over 40 hits as well as 18 albums.

There are still a few tickets left for the remaining few UK shows, you can find all details here
