Hollywood Vampires is a rock supergroup formed in 2015 by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, and Tommy Henriksen. The name derives from a 1970s drinking club associated with Alice Cooper that included figures such as John Lennon and Keith Moon. The group focuses on a mix of original material and covers of classic rock songs by artists including The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Motörhead, The Doors and AC/DC, alongside tracks from Alice Cooper and Aerosmith. Their performances often centre on tributes to rock musicians no longer living.

The band is currently on a UK and European tour in 2026, their first such run in nearly three years. The tour began on 12 August 2026 at The O2 in London. Subsequent UK dates included Cardiff Castle on 14 August, Scarborough Open Air Theatre on 15 August, the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 17 August, the AO Arena in Manchester on 18 August, the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on 19 August, and Colchester Castle Park on 21 August. Support acts for selected UK shows included The Jesus and Mary Chain and The Damned.

Last night, Hollywood Vampires performed a sold out show at The Piece Hall in Halifax. This was the final date of the UK leg of the tour and featured The Damned as support. It formed part of a sequence of outdoor and arena performances across the United Kingdom before the group moved on to the European mainland.

The 2026 UK itinerary represented a significant return to live performance after a gap of almost three years. It encompassed a range of settings, from large-capacity arenas in major cities to historic outdoor locations such as Cardiff Castle, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Colchester Castle Park and The Piece Hall in Halifax. By the close of the British dates the band had completed a concentrated run of eight shows that highlighted their established approach to classic rock repertoire and original songs.

They combined the group’s own material with covers and medleys drawn from rock history, maintaining the long-standing focus on celebrating both living and departed figures from the genre.
