Charlotte Jane releases new single ’10 Percent’

Charlotte Jane has set the foundations to make a big breakthrough in 2022.

Charlotte Jane has set the foundations to make a big breakthrough in 2022. With several summer shows with Rag‘n’Bone Man already announced, the next step in her rise now starts as she today shares the brand new single ‘10 Percent’ along with its official video. Listen HERE. Watch the video below.

‘10 Percent’ finds the 23-year-old displaying the exceptional vocal talent which is sure to connect with a wider global audience as the year unfolds. In a song which says a final climactic goodbye to a non-committal love interest, Charlotte Jane displays empowerment, pain and disappointment in equal measure. But from that whirlwind of emotions, an invigorating feeling of optimism for greater things to come emerges.

It’s also a song in which Charlotte Jane integrates timeless songwriting with moody, electro-tinged production which is perfectly at home within the contemporary pop landscape. Charlotte Jane wrote ‘10 Percent’ with Oscar Scheller, Marcus White and Swedish duo Teddy Failure, who also produced the track.

Charlotte Jane says, “‘10%’ Is a song that’s pushed me out of my comfort zone – it’s about cutting out guys who don’t put in the level of effort that you deserve to receive. It’s about realising your self-worth and not settling for less anymore. It’s also the song that’s responsible for me wanting to dance again. I danced throughout my whole childhood but I stopped because I became so self-conscious about my body. I set myself the goal of dancing in this music video to try and overcome a lot of those insecurities, which is something that terrified me at first but now I feel like I’ve reclaimed a part of myself that stopped me dancing in the past.”
