Float Along Festival returns to Sheffield on Saturday 26th September 2026, bringing another full day of live music to venues across the city centre. Celebrating its fifth year, the multi-venue festival has established itself as part of Sheffield’s live music calendar, with a programme focused on post-punk, psychedelic rock, indie and alternative music.
This year’s event will once again give festival-goers the opportunity to move between venues throughout the day, with established names appearing alongside emerging artists and new talent.
Alongside bringing artists and audiences to Sheffield, Float Along continues to support the city’s grassroots live music scene through its multi-venue format.
Live performances take place at The Octagon, Sheffield Corporation and Sidney & Matilda across the day on Saturday 26th September, with the main festival open to those aged 14 and over. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over. An official after-party follows the main festival.
