Hollywood actor behind Kevin Myers in the iconic American Pie films to host a special screening, live Q&A, meet and greet, rock show and huge emo afterparty on Friday 13 November
One of the stars of one of the most iconic teen comedies of all time is heading to Teesside next week, as American Pie actor Thomas Ian Nicholas prepares to take over KU Stockton for a huge night of nostalgia, live music and 90s and 00s anthems.
Best known to millions around the world as Kevin Myers in the legendary American Pie film franchise, the Hollywood actor, filmmaker and musician will appear in person at KU on Friday 13 November, bringing his Thomas Nicholas Band to Stockton for one night only.
And this is far more than your average gig.
The special American Pie Emo Night will feature a screening of the original 1999 comedy, an exclusive audience Q&A with Nicholas, a VIP meet and greet, an intimate acoustic performance, a full live set from his band and an American Pie-inspired emo club night to round off the evening.
Taking place across KU and The Social Room, the event promises a full-blown celebration of the music, films and pop culture that defined a generation.
Released in 1999, American Pie became a global box office phenomenon and one of the most recognisable teen comedies of its era, spawning a hugely successful film franchise and introducing audiences to a cast of characters who became household names.
Nicholas starred as Kevin Myers alongside Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein and Tara Reid, helping to create a film that remains a cult favourite more than 25 years later.
Now, Teesside fans will have the rare opportunity to watch the original film with one of its stars in the room, hear stories from behind the scenes and experience Nicholas’s other great passion: rock music.
As frontman of the Thomas Nicholas Band, the actor has carved out an impressive second career, performing more than 1,500 concerts across 15 countries over the past 15 years.
American Pie Emo Night ft. Thomas Nicholas Band takes place at KU Stockton, Prince Regent Street, on Friday 13 November 2026. The event is strictly for over-18s.
