Today marks the official release of Alison Moyet’s reissue series spanning her five studio albums recorded between 2002 and 2017.‘Hometime’, ‘Voice’, ‘The Turn’, ‘the minutes’ and ‘Other’ are presented on heavyweight vinyl, each pressed with their own distinct colours, as well as deluxe CD formats which include a wealth of bonus material such as live recordings, b-sides, demos and remixes.

Collectively, the five albums demonstrate the strength and breadth of Alison’s creativity throughout the 21st century, as “one of the most emotive and intoxicating British voices ever” (BBC) progressed from the compelling comeback of 2002’s ‘Hometime’ via the orchestrated arrangements of ‘Voice’ and the dramatic contemporary pop of ‘The Turn’ through to a return to sleek, sophisticated synth-pop with ‘the minutes’ and ‘Other’.
It was a time of commercial and critical resurgence too, most notably including two Top 10 chart positions, a Gold certification, a BRIT nomination, and honours from the Ivors Academy and Silver Clef Awards.
Throughout the reissue campaign, Alison has reunited with ‘40 Moyet Moments’ host Steve Coats-Dennis for a new podcast series, which is available HERE. ‘The Alison Moyet Podcast’ examines the stories behind each album in depth, each of which is explored in two parts.
The episodes have focused on ‘Hometime’ featuring contributions from co-writer Pete Glenister and producers The Insects; the Grammy and Academy Award winner Anne Dudley sharing her memories of working on ‘Voice’; while Pete Glenister returned to join Alison to dissect the making of ‘The Turn’.
Part 1 exploring ‘the minutes’, released earlier this week, saw Guy Sigsworth joining the conversation, with part 2 following on September 29th. The series will conclude with ‘Other’, with episodes being released on October 6th and October 13th.
The reissues come as Alison has just commenced a huge UK and European headline tour. It features tracks from two albums in the series, the electro-pop pairing of ‘the minutes’ and ‘Other’ alongside songs from her breakthrough era with Yazoo. While a handful of Yazoo songs have been regulars in Alison’s live shows, many others haven’t been performed since Yazoo’s 2008 Reconnected Tour.
The 2026 tour sold so quickly that an additional 10 UK shows were added and all dates have long been sold-out.
