Acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter Damiano David has today released his infectious new single ‘Voices’. Damiano’s latest offering is a shimmering slice of pop gold – an instantly-catchy melodic pop anthem for anyone who’s battled their inner demons and still found a way to sing through the noise. ‘Voices’ is the opening track on Damiano’s highly anticipated forthcoming debut solo album Funny Little Fears which is due for release on May 16.
‘Voices’ is out now and available to download/stream HERE. A live performance of the ‘Voices’ with VEVO will be available from 2pm CEST today. Damiano’s debut solo album Funny Little Fears will be released digitally and physically on May 16 and is available to pre-order/save HERE.
Speaking on the single, Damiano David said “VOICES” is about my inner battle—everything that pulled me away from myself and from really understanding what I wanted… and more importantly, what I didn’t want. This song is the final piece before the full story unfolds with the album. Funny Little Fears is basically my emotional diary from this past year. Writing it helped me work through some deep emotional blocks and anxiety, and let me show a more personal, maybe unexpected, side of myself—both musically and as a person. Releasing “VOICES” before the album feels like opening the last door, inviting everyone into my inner world, without fear.”
‘Voices’ follows the previously released singles ‘Next Summer’, ‘Born With A Broken Heart’, and ‘Silverlines’ which are all set to feature on the album.
Marking a bold and defiant new chapter in Damiano’s career and artistry, Funny Little Fears sees the acclaimed artist break the moulds of expectation, both sonically and lyrically, defy genre boundaries, and bravely journey deep within the confides of his own mind as he confronts his fears.
Fans will be able to hear songs from Funny Little Fears live later this year as Damiano will embark on a massive 2025 global tour with dates across Europe, North America, Australia, South America and Asia. Encompassing 34 dates across five continents, with multiple sold out shows, venue upgrades, and additional dates added, it is a true statement of intent as he continues to introduce himself on the world stage. This summer, he will be performing at several festivals, including a first ever performance in South Korea at the Seoul Jazz Festival, Lollapalooza Chicago , Bonnaroo Tennessee and Bilbao BBK.
