Rising UK singer-songwriter Izzy Withers returns with “Selfish”, a deeply personal new single that captures the liberating moment of walking away from a relationship that no longer serves you. Listen to the track HERE. The tracks comes off the back of her recently announced headline show at The Grace on September 9th, tickets are available HERE.

‘Selfish’ was co-written and produced by Ian Barter, whose songwriting and production credits include Paloma Faith, Dermot Kennedy, Izzy Bizu, Gabrielle, and Allman Brown. Together, they have created a record that blends soulful vulnerability with modern pop production, allowing Izzy’s heartfelt storytelling to take centre stage.

Izzy describes Selfish as “a song about the realisation that a situation and a person aren’t right for you. It’s about the freedom you feel when you leave something that isn’t serving you. I wrote it about someone that I loved who didn’t show up for me in the ways I needed”. She continues, “I was stuck in that cycle and finally found the strength to leave it behind.”

This release follows Izzy’s non-stop summer festival appearances, such as recently performing at the DJ AG Festival and 2 stages at The Great Escape 2026. Earlier this year Izzy released the stunning single ‘Miss Envy, listen here. The track explores the raw emotions of comparison and the quiet heartbreak it can bring.

Through evocative lyrics and a compelling sound, Izzy offers listeners an intimate glimpse into her inner world, turning vulnerability into something both relatable and unforgettable.

Beyond her music, Izzy has featured in campaigns with leading global brands, including a national in-store campaign as one of the faces of JD, and performing, hosting and producing at a recent Jordan’s re-release launch event. With more music on the horizon and her second headline show around the corner, Izzy is solidifying her position as one of the year’s most thrilling artists to watch.
