Following their debut American headline tour in March, most of which was sold out, their second sold out UK headline tour in April, and the release of their third EP, Nightlife, Drogheda’s modernlove. have announced a further tour for October this year.

Their American tour – which included SXSW – added another landmark moment to a live reputation which flourishes with every run of shows. Their debut UK headline tour late last year sold out months in advance, their April tour this year included their biggest headline London show to date, and their festival schedule this year already includes Latitude, Live at Leeds, Tramlines, Truck and Victorious.

Those recent tours showed that the band’s releases continue to make a global impact, with influential support from BBC Radio 1 (Jack Saunders, Gemma Bradley) and Radio X (John Kennedy) being matched by mounting critical acclaim throughout the UK and now the USA.

Modernlove. is a band from Los Angeles, California, that formed in 2019.  They are known for their unique blend of alternative rock, post-punk, and shoegaze, which creates a sound that is both melancholic and upbeat.

Modernlove. has released several singles, including “Famous,” “Company,” and “Wasted,” which have garnered attention from music critics and fans alike. Their debut EP, “Monochrome,” was released in 2020 and showcases their ability to create atmospheric and emotive music.

The band’s lyrics often deal with themes of love, loss, and self-reflection, and their music is characterized by dreamy guitar riffs, pulsing basslines, and driving drumbeats. Modernlove. has been compared to bands like The Cure, Slowdive, and Interpol, but they bring a unique sound and energy to the table that is all their own.
