Electronic master and multi-hyphenate talent Roosevelt announces a run of EU and UK tour dates taking place in December 2023, kicking off in Hamburg and rounding up in Wiesbaden with dates at New Century in Manchester and Electric Brixton in London in the UK. Tickets are available on pre-sale from 14th June and general sale from 15th June, available to purchase here.
The announcement comes shortly after Roosevelt’s first release after signing with new label Counter Records/Ninja Tune, “Ordinary Love”. Listen here.
It’s going to be an exciting 2023 for the Berlin-based electronic maestro, following past high-profile collaborations with Nile Rodgers, Classixx and Washed Out, and major remixes for the likes of Taylor Swift, CHVRCHES, Glass Animals, and Charlotte Gainsbourg. His last full-length album ‘Polydans’ earned widespread acclaim from press, with Billboard saying it “balances 80s-inspired synth, disco, driving beats and cinematic textures into a musical amalgamation that simultaneously manages effervescence and heft” with Pitchfork adding “ Lauber’s music evokes an earnest sweetness, forming crisp melodies around his smooth vocals.”
Roosevelt (the stage name of Marius Lauber) has also announced his biggest North American Tour to date headlining 35+ dates including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto and more. To me it’s about telling the story of how my sound comes together, not just by presenting it in its full effect, but also by repeatedly dissecting and reassembling its multiple elements.”
