Following their powerhouse collaboration with Royal Blood on ‘My Blood’ and the recent release of ‘Love is a Dog From Hell’, The Amazons are back with their explosive new single ‘Night After Night’. Loaded with thundering riffs and raw energy, the track is the latest taste of their forthcoming album 21st Century Fiction, out May 9th. The band have also announced they will be hitting the road in Autumn 2025 for a run of UK headline dates.
An anthem of frustration and self-reflection, The Amazons drew inspiration from their time spent at Jumbo’s Clown Room in Hollywood, an old haunt of David Lynch and Charles Bukowski, which they shaped into a metaphor for the habits and routine that trap us all. Lead singer Matt Thomson explains, “what interested us were the guys who’d go there all the time, who became part of the furniture, at the bar night after night compelled to be there, unable to break out. It’s easy to judge, but we all have our habits, some more visible than others. It’s only when we try to hop the fence, that we realise how much of a hold they have over us.” Listen to ‘Night After Night’ HERE.
Known for their electric stage presence and full throttle intensity, The Amazons are bringing their raucous live show to the UK this Autumn, with a 10-date-tour, including a show at London’s Roundhouse on October 29th. Pre-sale tickets are available at 10:00 am on Wednesday April 9th with General sale at 10:00 am on Friday April 11th from HERE.

The band’s fourth studio album, 21st Century Fiction is the sound of “a man in his late 20s, struggling with unrealistic ideals of masculinity and a sense of unfulfilled promise”, surrounded by “a world plagued by chaos.”
These were songs that Thomson needed to write, not just to lift himself from the doldrums, but for a generation of young males with the same struggles. 21st Century Fiction signals the emergence of The Amazons’ bold new sound – still loaded with riffs and roaring with aggression, but packed with a whole new level of introspection, energy and grandiose. With three huge Top 10 records and sold out shows across the globe under their belts, The Amazons are facing their futures: fired up and ready to go.
